all the time in the Universe has already passed, but you’re just a stupid human and your brain is only capable of processing one thing at a time? everything that has ever happened or will happen in the universe occurs in a split second.
picture your life as a timeline. all of the information is written on one single page, it’s all there at the same time, but you can’t read it all at once. you have to read one event at a time.

misogyny sucks and females, for the most part, have been treated as the inferior sex since the beginning of man
but I can still name a few customs that are sexist toward men that our culture just seems to overlook
The thing that I think is scary is the fact that countries can move backward. It is possible. As Americans, we always look at countries with few rights and no freedom of speech, and we say that we could never be like that. The founding fathers of this country wouldn’t have allowed it!
Just look at Egypt. The young people protested Gaddafi, and they got rid of him! But look where they are now, with the Muslim Brotherhood taking over.
And remember SOPA and PIPA? That wasn’t nothing. That was people trying to pass laws that would have made our internet as “free” as the internet in China.
I don’t know, it just worries me sometimes. I worry for my future kids.

As much as I absolutely despise all the attacks on women’s rights this year made by silly, ignorant people, every day I just think about how lucky I am to not live in some other third world country where women are literally treated like property.
Example: I’m sure many of you have heard about that girl in Morocco who killed herself after being forced to marry her rapist? That was the rapist’s punishment. He could either be prosecuted, or marry her. (What an effective punishment!) She was only 16.
And, of course, countries such as Saudi Arabia, in which women are not allowed to drive in the cities (among other things).
I’m just glad I can go to school, get a job, live a normal life and, for the most part, not be a victim of discrimination.
Regret is probably the worst and best human emotion you can experience
It’s the worst because no matter what you do, it’s absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to change what you’ve done in the past. there are situations you can make better, but you can’t change the fact that you caused the problem/contributed to the problem/etc.
but it’s beneficial because it helps you grow and determine what kind of choices to make in the future

vegetarianism is a very noble thing if that’s what your beliefs are and if you can maintain a healthy lifestyle
but I absolutely HATE it when people talk about how disgusting meat is and how meat-eaters are disgusting, carnivorous, evil beings
damn bitch that is what your ancestors had to eat for survival
be thankful you’re in an economic situation in which you can even afford to be a vegetarian
very angry at the people that the general public choose to praise and worship
AKA: disgusting materialistic robots who live in an ignorant bubble of bliss, completely unaware of the world around them and people who are actually making a difference. their sole purpose in life is to be in the tabloids, sporting pictures with their soon-to-be ex husbands/wives.
I hope it makes them feel great that once they die, not a thing in the world will have been impacted by them except how many little kids are disappointed by the lack of money, fame, and designer brand shoes they have.

nuclear weapons are actually probably the worst thing in the history of mankind
NOTHING good could come out of a nuclear war
imagine this situation: someone attacks the United States with nuclear bombs, then we send one their way, then that country’s allies get involved, then more and more countries get involved, and then pretty soon every country is just a crater filled with burning rubble and dead things
…and the only people left were hiding far underground and they’re really ugly and they multiply and the human race just becomes a bunch of ugly mole people

I think it’s hilarious when teenagers are all for gay rights and equal rights, and then they judge the entire content of someone’s character based on the sole fact that they do not support gay marriage.
Get it through your head that you are not an all-knowing being, and you did not grow up in the same environment that these people grew up in.
